Research on high performance and compact passive component in mobilecommunications and RF integrated Circuit has been done in this dissertation. The researchwork in this dissertation focuses on the novel transmission structure-slotline and severalschemes for high performance and miniaturized slotline passive component includingbandpass filter, diplexer and other passive components are presented. The work in thisdissertation has important value for the application of circuit design in wirelesscommunication system RF front-end.In chapter3, we research on the design theory of miniaturized dual-mode slotlinebandpass filter. A miniaturized dual-mode bandpass filter using mendering slotline aredesigned. Using meandering slotline loop resonator, the circuit size is reduced and elliptic(chebyshev) characteristic curve is obtained by adjusting the defected corner-cut perturbationsize. In chapter4, we research on the design theory of dual-band slotline bandpass filter. Acompact dual-band filter using embedded Spiral Slotline Open-loop Resonators is proposed.In chapter5, we research on the design theory of slotline stepped impedance resonator. Acompact diplexer is implemented by using slotline hairpin stepped impedance resonator inground plane. It was originally presented not only to reduce the resonator size, but also tocontrol the high-order resonant frequencies by properly using suitable impedance andelectrical length ratio.
