The Diversity Of The Museum And The Reappearance Of The Historical Landscape Of The City

With the development of the modern society,the concept and the function of museums are constantly expanding,and the protection of Historic Urban Landscape(HUL)is increasingly concerned.This paper consults and interprets the documents about museums and HUL,which are from ICOM and UNESCO.The main thought is based on a comparison of the aesthetic aspects in both China and some western countries.This paper concludes that Chinese dote on harmony and they have the conditions and capabilities to reappear HUL.The capabilities are verified by time until nowadays.This paper sorts up the methods from the data of many famous museums,and explores the theory of these methods.The MinGuo Gallery in Nanjing Museum is a comprehensive case,and it is the important reasoning basis for the paper.
