With the development of economy and living standard, more and more people have an increasing demand on spiritual civilization, museum, thus, has become significantly important. China own diverse and different cultures and histories because of her vast coverage. Nowadays, the constructions of museum informationization become more and more significant, with a view to understanding the traditional history and the cultures of all regions of our country, appreciating the collections of different museums locating in all the parts of our country, and promoting the understanding of the diverse historical and cultural traditions. The constructions of museum informationization have been developed rapidly, as a result of the developments of the computer technology. We make use of the advanced database for the material management, multimedia phantoms or the virtual reality technology for exhibition. We make the internet resources to establish the online-museums and homepages and we publicize the museums with the help of vast reach and rapid broadcasting speed. The achievements meet the increasing new requirements as well as promote the developments of museums on the basis of the high-tech of computers.Intangible cultural heritage is a concept that has been proposed not for a long while. It started in 1960's and 1970's in some countries. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization held the 32nd meeting from Sep 29th to Oct 17th in 2003 in Paris, established Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, it has been one of the focus that the cultural circle cares about nowadays in the world. There are lots of Intangible cultural heritages in our country after 5,000-year history, how to protect them is the issue that we must think about. The museum should contribute to it as a social service organization. The technology of museum informationization which is developing so fast is sure to be more useful in protecting the Intangible cultural heritage in the museum.This article mainly is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter presents the significance and task of the dissertation on the basis of the protections of Intangible cultural heritage and the constructions of museum informationization. The second chapter introduces the fundamental concepts, qualities, and characteristics of Intangible cultural heritage and museum informationization, and it presents the relative developments both at home and abroad as well. The third chapter relates the roles that some technologies play in the protection of Intangible cultural heritage. How to make contributions to the Intangible cultural heritage by employing the database, multiple-media and other high-tech as well as how to make use of the Internet to enforce the protections of Intangible cultural heritage are the topics. The fourth chapter discusses how to make full use of the museum protections as well as take the advantages of the information technologies to fulfill this task. The major means are the publications via the Internet technologies and electronic publications. The fifth chapter previews the roles that museums play in the protections of Intangible cultural heritage. The following chapter summaries the problems existing in the protections of Intangible cultural heritage. And the last chapter makes a summary of the whole dissertation.
