With its theories been spread and the practical exploration been taken in China for more than twenty years, the Eco-museum, which came into being in France during 60's to 70's last century, has gradually grown to be a new and important method for the cultural heritage protection in the minority regions of China, and has got more attention and devotion. While getting lots of helpful achievement, there's also some problem and difficulty in its development. Eco-museum in China is facing how to explore and find a native way to gain sustainable development. Aiming at exploring the way to do protection for minority cultural heritage, the author made survey to the eight eco-museums in Guizhou and Guangxi. Basing on these fairly rich sources, he's going to do some studying on the eco-museums in the minority regions of China. The paper focuses on exploring the method with which the eco-museums can get development in the minority regions of our country, and researching how the eco-museums work in accordance with the characteristics of the minority cultural heritage. It also approaches other topics, such as the particularity of the eco-museums' developing in the minority regions, the human relations of the different groups in the eco-museums, and the affection that the eco-museums bring to the community development, etc.
