Ancient poetry is short and concise with profound meaning,which has always been a major difficulty in Chinese teaching.It is of great significance in inheriting excellent culture,improving language taste,penetrating aesthetic education and nourishing emotional value.Starting from September 2017,the ministry of education began to put into use Chinese textbooks for compulsory education(hereinafter referred to as "the ministry edition").The teaching contents and forms of ancient poetry in the new textbooks have changed greatly,which increases the difficulty of teaching ancient poetry in the lower period of primary school Chinese.In the actual teaching,many teachers rely too much on network resources and do not really study the textbooks and study the learning situation,so the teaching effect is not ideal and the value of ancient poetry in children's learning and growth is not brought into play.Therefore,the author makes a comprehensive discussion on the teaching of ancient poetry in the low years of primary school by means of questionnaire,literature analysis,practice,interview and other research methods,and puts forward some strategies for the teaching of ancient poetry in the low years of primary school by combining the observation and practice of the teaching status of ancient poetry in the low years of primary school.The main body of the paper is mainly from four chapters to expand the discussion:The fist part: Defining relevant concepts by referring to materials.Combined with the literature,this paper summarizes the necessity of the teaching of ancient poetry in elementary school:inheriting excellent culture,improving language taste,infiltrating aesthetic education and nourishing emotional value.On the basis of studying textbooks and students' learning feelings,this paper summarizes the feasibility of teaching ancient poetry in the early period of primary school: it accords with students' learning characteristics,trains their thinking ability,trains their imagination ability,and grasps the critical period of language acquisition.The second part: By means of comparison,statistical analysis and other methods,this paper describes the features of the selection and compilation of ancient poems in the textbooks of the lower years of primary school Chinese compiled by the ministry from the theme,genre,language,quantity,form,illustrations,after-school exercises,framework: close to students' daily life,in line with students' cognitive level,pay attention to the inheritance of traditional culture,adopt double-line organization unit structure,unit structure is lack of systematicity,after class exercise lack of flexibility,the teaching contents of middle and high school are moved down.The third part: Through the methods of questionnaire survey and teacher interview,this paper summarizes the merits of teaching ancient poetry at the present stage: teachers and students pay more and more attention to the teaching of ancient poetry.The teaching methods of ancient poetry are gradually diversified.However,through investigation and observation,it is found that due to the lack of literary knowledge and life experience,it is still very difficult for students to learn ancient poetry;The dependence of teachers on lesson preparation leads to the large gap between public classes and daily classes;Teachers tend to ignore learning objectives;The teaching content lacks extracurricular development and so on.The fourth part: Five Suggestions are put forward for the teaching of ancient poetry in the early period of primary school through the methods of class,observation,evaluation and literature analysis: let imagination run wild with the help of the situation;through reading,cultivate language sense;use VR to face the poetic landscape;integrate disciplines and improve literacy;compare and contrast poems.The conclusion summarizes the main points of the paper and points out the shortcomings.
