The research takes performance area activities of 5-6 year-old children as the theme,attempts to solve the problems in the development of thematic-fantasy play and explore teacher's supporting strategies.The study took the fourth class of Nanjing G Garden as the research object,and finally solved the problem through three rounds of action research.After the action research,the entire process was reflected and summarized,and effective suggestions were provided to support the performance area for children aged 5-6.The research is divided into three phases,the first phase is the preparation for action research.Researcher investigates the development of activities in the class performance area by the way of observation and find that children are prone to be out of thematic-fantasy play and lack the sense of cooperation.After interviewing with teachers,researcher find that the external cause of these problems is that children are easily affected by activities in other areas.The root cause is that the activity in the performance area itself is not enough to attract children.Mainly reflects the following aspects : Performance materials are not performable,Existing environmental materials are difficult to support the development of play,teachers' support and guidance are insufficient.Based on this,the problem to be solved by action research is: how can teachers support children to play independently in the performance area? Researcher plans and organizes action research according to children's experience.The second phase is the implementation stage of action research which consists of three steps: preliminary inquiry,adjustment and creation,and creative expression.The first stage is to add performance elements to the story,and attempts the "script" performance for the first time;the second stage is making the continuation of story,designing scene props independently,and gradually improves the performance of the game flow;the third stage is the formal performance of the small theater,which adds vivid expression and drives the integration of game between regions.Children's autonomy and concentration in games have been improved through practice,and finally achieve research goals.The third phase is the summary and reflection of action research.Researcher summarize the implementation effect of action research and put forward educational suggestions: the content of performance can be connected with the curriculum;createan open environment of game so that children become the creators of the environment;teachers should respect children's rights to play game and provide effective support.
