Information technology application is the core literacy of high-quality teachers in the new era.With the implementation of the information technology application improvement project,rural primary school teachers are basically equipped with the ability to use teaching equipment and software,and they can also search and organize teaching resources to assist teaching.However,they are not good at using advanced teaching media and software,and hey lack the ability to handle teaching resources and equipment.All in all,their information technology application need to be improved.The study takes primary school Chinese teachers and mathematics teachers in W County of East Shu as the research object.Based on the Standards of Information Technology Application Ability of Primary and Middle School Teachers,and combined with existing research literature analysis and teacher interviews,there is a questionnaire survey on the status quo and influencing factors of primary school teachers information technology application.After analyzing the recovered questionnaire data,we know that primary school teachers of W County basically understand the new requirements for talent training in the information age,and they know that they must use information technology to change the way of students ’learning.They can also be proficient in operating multimedia teaching equipment and choose appropriate information technology to break through the difficulties of classroom teaching.The primary school teachers are weak in the use of digital resources,subject tools(such as geometry sketchpads)and knowledge construction tools,and the ability to handle technical failures is also in a disadvantaged position.When they evaluate the overall quality of students,they have fewer technical options.The primary school teachers are not good at using network training to participate in professional development activities,and they infrequently keep in touch with experts and peers through information technology to advance their professional growth.These are the capabilities that they need to be improved.The study divides the factors affecting the development of teachers ’ information technology application ability into three aspects:school,training and regional application atmosphere.Through the correlation analysis of the influence factors and the status of capabilities,we can find that school plays an important role.The study puts forward the following suggestions:attaching importance to self-efficacy,and achieving autonomous improvement;improving the training system and coordinating regional development;clarifying the core of the factors and effectively exerting their functions.
