Urbanization is the only way of national development and an important strategic layout of current social and economic development.Against the background of rapid urbanization development,the survival and development of rural primary schools are facing great challenges.Based on the current research situation at home and abroad,and on the basis of defining the related concepts of urbanization and rural primary school,this paper studies,analyzes and summarizes the characteristics,functions,value demands,value orientation and functions of rural primary school education.Based on the case study of Y primary school in town J in jiaozhou city,through interviews with school leaders,teachers,parents and students,it is found that the development of rural primary schools in the urbanization construction faces the following challenges.The layout of rural primary schools is unreasonable,"losing the countryside" in space;The proportion of educational funds is unbalanced,and the rural areas are "lost" in financial support.The loss of excellent teachers is serious,"losing the countryside";Students moral decline seriously,in moral education "lost village".By referring to the experience and measures of developing rural education in Britain,the United States and Japan,this paper puts forward corresponding solutions in combination with the development status of rural primary schools in China.Second,adjust the layout of primary schools and improve the rural education structure;Third,increase the investment of rural primary school education funds,standardize the financial allocation mechanism of school-running funds;Fourth,to establish a benign supplementary mechanism for rural teachers;Fifth,the self-construction and development of rural primary schools;Sixth,establish a sound psychological counseling mechanism and innovate the educational management mode of left-behind children.
