In junior high school history teaching,the quality of history education largely depends on the strength of history teachers.Due to the influence of economic development level and other factors,compared with urban areas,the junior middle school history teachers in township areas are faced with a serious shortage of quantity and low quality,which greatly limits the improvement of junior middle school history education.History teacher as an important part of junior high school teachers,for rural junior middle school cultivate "Versatile history teacher" can not only improve the teaching level of history,but also can share the other disciplines teaching task,for ease of villages and towns junior high school teachers strength weak,improve the overall level of rural junior middle school education is of great significance.As a big province of education,Shandong Province has always been the pioneer of educational reform.Since 2016,according to the policy guidance of national basic education and the needs of the construction of teachers in rural primary and secondary schools,Shandong Province has started to implement free education for normal university students(now renamed as public education for normal university students)at the undergraduate level by relying on provincial colleges and universities,with the focus on training "Versatile teacher" discipline teachers in shortage in primary and secondary schools for rural areas.However,history,as one of the first ten majors to recruit government-funded normal university students,is important enough for township junior high school education.The paper is divided into five parts: in the first part,the reasons for the topic,the related research review,the research significance and innovation of this paper and research methods are discussed;The second part defines and discriminates the related concepts of "one specialty and many abilities";The third part elaborates the theoretical basis and practical basis of this paper;The fourth part summarizes the problems existing in the training of public normal university students of history major and analyzes the causes of the problems;The fifth part provides effective Suggestions and paths for the cultivation of "Versatile history teacher" in township junior middle schools from the government and university.Up to now,it has been less than four years for Shandong Province to develop the training of public-funded normal university students majoring in history,and there are still insufficient theoretical and practical experience,so there are many doubts in the training process--How to correctly understand the "Versatile history teacher" ? Under the current plan,whether the training of "Versatile history teacher" can meet the actual needs of township junior high school education?How can we explore an effective way to cultivate "Versatile history teacher" ?By 2020,the first government-funded normal university students who are about to graduate will step into the frontline of the teaching work in towns and townships.How to improve the current training work so that the subsequent government-funded normal university students can better and faster adapt to the future work needs is a practical problem worth our thinking.
