The Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools(2017 edition)puts forward the requirements of the key competencies of the Chinese course.As an important part of it,the “development and promotion of thinking” makes it clear that the balanced development of different types of thinking and the promotion of thinking quality are the key factors to improve students' Chinese key competencies and make it adapt to the requirements of the times.In view of the key competencies,the course criteria has set up the compulsory course content of the“speculative reading and expression” learning task clusters and requires that the excellent ancient Chinese works should be no less than half of the in-class reading list.It aims to guide the students to use the text to carry out speculative reading and expression in order to improve the level of rational thinking.High school Chinese course attaches unprecedented importance to students' thinking ability,especially rational thinking ability.It can be seen from the overall framework of high school Chinese course that the promotion and development of students' rational thinking ability have received unprecedented attention.Being an important part of excellent ancient works,classical ancient prose a valuable material for high school students to carry out language,thinking and cultural education and plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the Chinese key competencies of students.Through investigation,the author finds that there are some problems in the teaching of ancient prose in high school at present.For example,the implementation of “classical style of writing” squeezes the discussion of “prose”,the actual teaching content is not connected to the teaching objectives,teaching focuses on the superficial memorization of words and phrases and understanding of content,and the critical value of ancient prose has not been fully explored.These problems hinder the realization of the objectives of the Chinese course in high school and need to be solved.It is an effective method to solve existing problems and improve teaching levels to combine the teaching of speculative reading and the teaching of the ancient prose and implement the speculative reading teaching of ancient prose in high school.As the practice of applying the teaching of speculative reading to high school Chinese teaching is still at the exploratory stage,it is not clear how to implement the speculative reading teaching of ancient prose for front-line teachers,who need systematic strategic guidance.Combining the advantages and characteristics of the speculative reading teaching of ancient prose,we can clarify the effective strategies of speculative reading teaching of ancient prose in high school: it is the selection strategy of thespeculative reading teaching of ancient prose to deeply extract the critical resources in the teaching material and the ancient prose texts;self-reading,reading practices guided by learning task clusters,questioning,and rhetoric questions are the class teaching strategies based on the characteristics of speculative reading teaching;in order to carry out the teaching effectively,teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' critical ability outside the classroom and adopt the strategies of guiding the application of critical skills and extending extra-curricular resources.I hope that the research in this paper can further supplement the research results of speculative reading teaching in high school and provide certain references for the practices of the speculative reading teaching of ancient prose in high school.
