Reading classics is an important part of Chinese in middle schools.In recent years,the teaching of reading classics is an important and difficult point in junior middle school Chinese teaching.Especially under the influence of the new media environment,the reading behavior and reading habits of junior middle school students show the characteristics of fragmentation,audio-visual and rapid reading.Students obviously have the problems of insufficient number of reading classics a nd little interest in reading.In this regard,interest guidance and effective teaching are the difficulties to break through the teaching of classic reading.According to the law of the development of Chinese ability,in listening,speaking,reading and writing ability,listening ability ranks first,and has a leading function for other abilities.Listening and reading teaching is one of the effective ways to stimulate students’ reading interest and improve students’ reading ability.Therefore,in the new media environment,how to effectively implement the teaching of classics listening and reading is the purpose of this paper.According to the basic requirements of the current new curriculum standard for the reading of famous works of middle school students,this paper analyses the teaching objectives of reading famous works,and puts forward that listening and reading are the means to stimulate students’ interest in reading.Combining with the current new media environment,this paper proposes to use the new media as the carrier of listening and reading teaching,to implement the teaching process of listening and reading by using various listening and reading methods,from the traditional listening and reading training to the group cooperative listening and reading mode of students,to solve the problem of students’ reading classics from the links of pre-reading,listening and reading,and listening after reading.Finally,it puts forward practical strategies for the teaching of listening and reading classics.By investigating the current situation of classics reading in the new media environment,this paper puts forward the solution strategy based on "listening and reading",hoping to help teachers,inspire parents and benefit students by explaining the phenome non of "classics listening and reading" teaching,summarizing the teaching rules and exploring the form of teaching content.
