With the increasing aging of our society, the harm of Alzheimer's disease to society is more and more prominent.According to data,by the end of 2017,the number of Alzheimer's patients in China had exceeded 9 million, ranking first in the world.According to the family size of three generations and five people, nearly 45 million people are directly or indirectly suffering from Alzheimer's disease.Due to the limitation of our country's economic development, the majority of the elderly with Alzheimer's disease can not be admitted to professional care institutions, but by the family members of the patients to carry out family care.Unfortunately, current medical techniques have failed to cure Alzheimer's disease and have to take long-term medication to slow the development of Alzheimer's disease, which has had many negative effects on family caregivers in Alzheimer's.Long-term care for patients and expensive medical expenses have left many family caregivers in a difficult position. As the problems continue to emerge, various sectors of society have extended a helping hand to the special group of caregivers of the Alzheimer's family.Helping them lighten the burden of caring for their patients is no exception to social workers who help others in their professional activities. From the point of view of social workers, taking the family of Alzheimer's in M hospital as an example, through personal contact and personal communication with family caregivers of Alzheimer's family,we can get an in-depth understanding of the financial difficulties they are facing and the plight of caring for them. All aspects of psychological predicament are analyzed and involved in the way of group work. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the research background and significance of this study. Then, some literatures about the care situation of Alzheimer's patients and the current situation of family caregivers at home and abroad were sorted out and studied, and the related studies were also reviewed. The end of the first chapter is the research and design. This paper clarifies the research ideas and introduces the three research methods used in the research. Finally, the innovation of this study is briefly explained. The second chapter is the definition and theoretical basis of the concept. This paper mainly defines and introduces the important concepts in this study, and explains the related theories of social workers in the process of the research. The third chapter takes the family members of Alzheimer's patients in M hospital as the research object, and records and analyzes the difficulties faced by them through unstructured interviews and so on.Family caregivers from eight Alzheimer's patients were subsequently recruited to form part of the group's activities, including through advocacy invitations.A caregiver burden scale(ZBI)and an unstructured interview were used to assess the needs of eight team members and finally to identify the requirements. The fourth chapter records the intervention process of group social work. There are five main aspects, namely, feasibility analysis of group social work intervention, group background, group objectives, group name, and evaluation of the record and process of seven sections of group activities. The fifth chapter is reflection and summary. The main purpose of this paper is to evaluate and analyze the results of group work intervention, and summarize the shortcomings in the process of group activities.
