| As a new mode of the talents training,modern apprenticeship is of great significance for the cultivation of a group of new technical and skilled talents and the development of modern vocational education in China.At present,many higher vocational colleges in our country have started the exploration of modern apprenticeship.Under the new training mode,the students of higher vocational colleges inevitably encounter some problems in the process of learning adaptation.The students’ learn-ing adaptability is concerned with their future employment,and also is closely related to the quality of education and the quality of employment.To improve the students’ adaptability,the primary focus of higher voca-tional colleges’work,which is meaningful for the modern apprenticeship system and the construction of modern vocational education system.Taking G Vocational College in Hubei Province as an example,the research focuses on the current situations of its students’ learning adapta-bility under the influence of mode of modern apprenticeship by question-naires and interviews.Carried out from five dimensions:learning attitude,learning motivation,learning ability,teaching mode and learning envi-ronment,the research analyzes the differences in gender,grade,profes-sional category,family source and whether to sign the employment agreement to identify learning adaptability problems of students,uncover the reasons,and come up with some countermeasures and suggestions.The results of research show that the overall adaptability of sophomores and junior students in G Vocational College is good,but still exists some problems.First of all,their motivation of learning is not enough but utili-tarian.Second,as to their learning ability,students lack of practical abil-ity and can’t arrange the time reasonably.Besides,as for the teaching mode,the masters’ teaching method is rigid and the methods of assess-ment and evaluation towards students are unreasonable.Finally,the stu-dents do not adapt to the complex working environment and campus learning environment.Combining with interviews from the teachers and students,it is found that the causes of the problems are various.That they don’t have clear learning objectives and good learning habits,weak social consciousness,and the company’s indifference are the main reasons for their lack of motivation.Furthermore,the reasons for the problems in learning ability include the students’weak basic knowledge and willpow-er,and some other external factors,such as the Vocational College’s lack of practice resources and its weak cooperation with enterprises and so on.Moreover,the reasons in the teaching mode mainly cover many external factors concerning enterprise master’s insufficient teaching ability,their shortage of teaching enthusiasm,and the unreasonable systems of as-sessment and evaluation.Finally the lack of social experience and the inperfection of relevant policies in college lead to students;inadaption to the learning environment.In the end,according to the above causes of problems,the author of this thesis puts forward some countermeasures on how to improve stu-dents’learning adaptability.For example,on the one hand students should be clear about their learning goals,strengthen the study of theoretical knowledge and the cultivation of self-control ability,and accumulate so-cial experience;on the other hand,the college ought to carry out the edu-cation in ideals and values for the correction of students’ learning motiva-tion,deepen the cooperation with enterprises,improve practical facilities with sound teacher’s training mechanism,and optimize the systems of as-sessment and evaluation towards students,etc.. |
