With the development and implementation of new curriculum standards,the education community is paying more and more attention to geometric intuition research.As a way to help learn mathematics,geometric intuition plays an important role in students' mathematics ability and mathematics learning.Especially for primary school students,their thinking is in the stage of specific thinking to abstract thinking,and some geometric intuition is necessary to help solve the problem.Through geometric intuition,complex mathematical relationships and words can be transformed into simple and clear patterns to solve problems effectively.It helps students learn from the formation of experience.It can also help students to clarify the ideas of solving problems and better solve mathematical problems.In this method of learning,students can also develop the ability to actively think and explore new knowledge in multiple ways.First of all,this study uses the literature method to understand the current situation of scholars' geometric intuition research,to clarify the concept of geometric intuition and geometric intuition expression,and to determine the research problems.Second,according to the problem to be studied,choose the appropriate research method.This study mainly uses test methods and interviews to understand the current situation of the fifth-grade primary school students' geometric intuition learning and analyze the existing problems.This study found that students are currently not aware of the intuitive use of geometry,but can recognize the role of geometric intuition,and are willing to learn.Students' knowledge of geometric intuition learning is weak in terms of graphical description problems.And for the geometric intuition mastery,there are differences between men and women.There is also a connection between grades and geometric intuition learning.Finally,suggestions for improvement of geometric intuition learning are proposed.Based on the current status of the research and the existing problems,some suggestions for improvement are proposed.The details are as follows: to enhance students' understanding of geometric intuition;to strengthen students' sense of using geometric intuition;to encourage students to draw more pictures,to respect the individualized expression of students;to select appropriate geometric and visual expressions;to enhance the accurate conversion between students' graphics andwords.
