In mathematical research,geometric intuition plays an important role in promoting the development of mathematics.And "geometric intuition" is also one of the core concepts in mathematics curriculum standards of compulsory education,the emphasis on the development of students' geometric intuition is also reflected in the curriculum standards of primary and secondary schools in China.Therefore,this paper chooses geometric intuitionistic ability as the core content.Carding and research on related problems.Junior middle school is a critical period for students to transition from image thinking to abstract thinking,and it is also a critical period for the development of students' mathematical ability.Therefore,this paper chooses junior middle school students as the research object.In the relevant empirical studies,it is found that the geometric intuitive ability of middle school students is at a lower level than the average level.At present,there is no research on gifted students in this field,but mathematics gifted education has always been valued in many countries,so this article choose the junior middle school mathematics gifted students as the research object."What is the level of geometric intuitionistic ability of gifted students in junior middle school mathematics?","Compared with common occurrence,which aspects of the geometric intuitionistic ability of gifted students may be better" and other issues still need to be further studied,which has become the research topic of this paper.The main conclusions of this study are:(1)gifted students have good overall geometric intuitive ability,while ordinary students have average geometric intuitive ability.There are significant differences between gifted students and ordinary students in the overall performance of geometric intuitive ability and the performance of each dimension of geometric intuitive ability(2)there is no significant gender difference between gifted students and ordinary students in geometric intuitive ability,and there is no significant gender difference between gifted students and ordinary students in the performance of each dimension.(3)there was a significant positive correlation between the academic performance and geometric intuitive ability of ordinary students,that is,the higher the academic performance,the better the performance of geometric intuitive ability.There is no correlation between the academic performance of ordinary students and the dimension of spatial imagination,but there is a significant positive correlation with the dimension of visual observation and visual construction.Finally,based on the analysis of the research conclusion,this paper puts forward some relevant teaching Suggestions and points out the shortcomings in the research.teaching focus and teaching methods in teaching,and students' training in using geometric intuitive thinking.
