As one of the ten core qualities of primary school mathematics,geometric intuition is clearly defined for the first time in the mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education(2011 Edition),which shows that the state attaches great importance to the ability of geometric intuition of students in compulsory education.Through the practical investigation of the important value and training status of the geometric intuitive ability of the primary school students,it is found that it has certain value and significance to conduct a comprehensive and objective investigation of the geometric intuitive ability of the fourth grade students.Based on the existing geometric intuitionistic evaluation model and evaluation index system of primary school students,and based on the TIMSS fourth grade mathematical test framework and Pisa test framework,the author has compiled the test paper of geometric intuitionistic ability of the fourth grade students.In order to ensure that the test paper can reflect the level of geometric intuitionistic ability of the fourth grade students in Shihezi city truly and objectively,the author's reliability for the test paper Validity,difficulty and differentiation were analyzed.In this study,400 fourth grade students from three different levels of schools in Shihezi city are selected as the research objects,and the current level of geometric intuitive ability of fourth grade students in Shihezi city is understood through questionnaire survey;based on the evaluation results,teachers and students are interviewed,and the causes and influencing factors of the current situation are analyzed in depth,and then targeted and effective suggestions are put forward.Through the analysis and research of the evaluation results and the interview results,the following conclusions are drawn: the geometry intuitive ability of the fourth grade students is generally at the middle level;the ability of the fourth grade students to use graphics to analyze problems in the field of number and algebra is weak;the test scores of the geometry intuitive ability of the fourth grade students are positively correlated with the mathematics scores;the main influence of the geometry intuitive ability of the fourth grade students The factors are students' mathematical thinking quality,mathematical ability,teachers' guidance in classroom teaching and students' daily life experience;The fourth grade students' concept of geometric intuition is not strong;the teachers' quality of geometric intuition needs to be improved.Based on the conclusion of this study,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)at the school level: first,schools should create a learning atmosphere of core literacy concepts;second,schools should play the role of subject teaching and research base to promote the professional development of teachers;(2)at the teacher's own level: first,teachers should improve their own geometric intuitive literacy and update the geometric intuitive knowledge system;second,Teachers should strengthen the integration of teaching materials,timely arrange the systematic geometry intuitive teaching;(3)for the classroom teaching level: first,in the classroom teaching,students should be encouraged to operate,to help students accumulate rich experience in geometry activities;second,in the classroom teaching,teachers should strengthen the teaching of the combination of numbers and shapes,and improve the awareness of using graphics to solve problems.Based on the above research conclusions and suggestions,I hope it can help the development of primary school students' geometric intuitive ability.
