The new round of curriculum reform based on the core literacy focuses on nurturing well-rounded individuals,actively implements the fundamental task of moral education and talents cultivation,and emphasizes the educational value of school teaching.Local history resources are related to the history and culture of a certain region,which are familiar and close to local students.There are abundant educational factors in local history resources,which are conducive to the cultivation of students' moral character.Hence,the development and utilization of local history resources meet the needs of curriculum reform and open up a new way for the cultivation of core literacy.As an ancient capital of the six dynasties and a famous historic city,Shangqiu has rich historical resources,which can provide materials for history teaching and thus contributes to the achievement of history curriculum objectives.Taking Shangqiu as an example,this paper discusses how to use the local history resources effectively under the background of curriculum reform,so as to provide new ideas for applying the local history resources to history teaching in Shangqiu,and to offer some help to the local history teaching in Shangqiu.This paper is divided into four parts.Firstly,it expounds the concept of local history resources and the necessity of exploiting and utilizing them.Secondly,it sorts out and classifies local history resources,and then introduces three principles that should be adhered to in selecting local history resources.Moreover,on the basis of the principles,this paper sorts out the connection between the local history resources of Shangqiu and the history textbooks,in order to find the interpenetration points of applying the local history to history teaching.Thirdly,this paper introduces the ways of applying local history resources in and outside the classroom,and then it further illustrates these strategies by designing specific cases.Finally,the paper puts forward some problems that should be paid attention to when using the local history resources.In conclusion,based on the latest educational theory and ideas,this paper takes Shangqiu as an example and analyzes how to connect local history resources with the teaching content.Besides,it also tries to find the effective ways to apply the local history resources to history teaching,so as to give full play to the educational value of history teaching and to help students develop core literacy.
