Research On The Improvement Of Youth Entrepreneurship Environment By The Communist Youth League Of Changzhou Based On The GEM Model

At present,entrepreneurship has increasingly become an important growth nucleus of the world economy.In recent years,with the continuous optimization of the quality of China’s economic development,national entrepreneurship has become popular.As one of the earliest prosperous regions of Jiangsu Province owes its progress to reform and opening-up,Changzhou enjoys a strong entrepreneurial atmosphere.There is a considerable number of personnel and funds involved in entrepreneurial activities with the number of private enterprises and individual businesses has respectively achieved 17,340 and 352,700.Besides,the individual registered capital has exceeded 1 trillion yuan.Changzhou enjoys a good entrepreneurial environment,and the rapid growth of entrepreneurial platforms,entrepreneurial financing and patent applications.There is also a fast-growing group of entrepreneurs,among which the youth aged 18-35 are the main force.The entrepreneurial fields of young entrepreneurs are concentrated in the secondary and tertiary industries,while the tertiary industry with less asset requirements accounts for more than half of the whole entrepreneurial activities.Young people generally encounter problems such as the lack of support from financial institutions,professional start-up carriers,and targeted entrepreneurship services.The youth entrepreneurship in Changzhou is also troubled by these problems.In view of this,this paper use the GEM model to analyze the current entrepreneurial environment of Changzhou from nine aspects,including finance,policy,project and so on.In the meanwhile,this paper finds some problems need to be solved,such as the imperfect financial services,entrepreneurial policy,project-based purchase of entrepreneurship services and education and training.It is the duty of the Communist Youth League to serve the youth entrepreneurship.Since the Communist Youth League does not have an administrative or commercial label,and shows the characteristics of a wide range of coverage and connections,and also has a relatively strong ability of youth mobilization.Therefore,the Communist Youth League has a significant advantage in helping young people start businesses.Therefor,Changzhou Communist Youth League has recently carried out a lot of work in financial support,policy guidance,projects support,the education and training,and atmosphere improvement.Next,Changzhou Communist Youth League will find out problems from nine aspects based on the GEM model,providing better financial services,project support,education and research and entrepreneurial environment,so as to create a better entrepreneurship environment for the youth to realize their dreams in Changzhou.
