Selected graduates are the abbreviation of the fresh graduating students who are both excellent in quality and science Selected by the Organizational Departments of the Party Committee in a planned way.Since the implementation of this system in the1960 s,a large number of talents have been trained for the Party and the state,a large number of outstanding young cadres have been transported to the grass-roots units,the structure of the cadres at the grass-roots level has been improved,and it has provided talent guarantee for the economic and social development all over the state.As the pacesetter of young cadres,the training,management,growth process and development status of Selected graduates have attracted much attention.In this paper,the status quo and influencing factors of the career development of selected graduates from 2013 to 2018 in Chongqing are studied,and three major researches are carried out.The first is to construct a theoretical analysis framework for the status quo of career development.Guided by Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the thesis uses the career management theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory to analyze selected graduates’ career development,and under the guidance of theoretical analysis,combined with the interview method and the existing research results,the theoretical analysis framework of the career development of the selected graduates was established,and the index system for the evaluation of the current development status of the selected graduates was established,and the influencing factors of the current development status of the selected graduates were chosen.The second is the empirical investigation of the status quo of career development of Chongqing’s selected graduates.Under the guidance of the theoretical analysis framework,the questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the current situation of the career development of Chongqing’s selected graduates.It is found that there is a serious outflow of Chongqing’s selected graduates from the grassroots,which fails to achieve the goal of enriching the ranks of grassroots cadres.AHP is used to determine the weight of the evaluation index of the status quo of career development.Based on the quantitative analysis of the status quo of the career development of selected graduates in Chongqing,it is found that the overall status quo of the career development of selected graduates in Chongqing is poor and should be paid attention to.The third is the empirical study on the correlation between the status quo and influencing factors of career development.The SPSS19.0 data statisticssoftware was used to analyze and discuss the correlation between the status quo and the influencing factors of the selected graduates’ career development,and it is concluded that the political ecological environment,the public opinion environment,the external job opportunities,the rationality of the selection and hire system,the working atmosphere,the salary,interpersonal relationship,awareness from leaders,education and training,physical condition,psychological adaptability,family support,satisfaction of entry motivation,and ability and quality of selected graduates have significant positive impact on the career development of Chongqing’s selected graduates.In order to improve the status quo of selected graduates’ career development,based on the research conclusions of the status quo and the influencing factors of the selected graduates’ career development,this paper proposes to continue to build a clean and positive political environment,to guide the public opinion,to improve the system for selecting and recruiting selected graduates,to improve the incentive mechanism for selected graduates and to intensify training and education from the social and organizational level,to boldly use excellent selected graduates and to create a good living and working environment from the employer level,and at the individual level,to maintain physical and mental health,to enhance their own ability and quality,to contribute to the grassroots and to win support from all sides. |
