Starting from the problems found in the teaching process,this paper explores the difficulties and types of errors in the acquisition of interactive verbs by Thai students by means of corpus research and questionnaire survey,and summarizes the rules of acquisition and error in order to provide some references for Thai students’ teaching of interactive verbs.Firstly,this paper explores the concept of "interactive verb",and synthesizes various viewpoints.It holds that "interactive verb" is a verb involving two or more persons and objects,and defines the definitions of such terms:(1)NP1+ and +NP2+V+(O);(2)NPC+V+(O)(NPC represents the combination of NP1 and NP2);(3)NPC can not enter NP1+ V+NP2.Combining with the framework,outline and related textbooks,the scope of this study is clarified.The characteristics and categories of "interactive verbs" are explored in detail,which can be divided into four categories:social,marriage,negotiation and competition.Secondly,based on the comparative study,this paper compares the similarities and differences between Thai and Chinese in terms of semantics and syntax,and predicts the errors of these words.In the acquisition chapter,the students’ corpus at the primary,intermediate and advanced stages extracted from the corpus is analyzed in detail,and the acquisition difficulty of 19 "interactive verbs" is examined in combination with the "first occurrence rate standard" and "accuracy standard",and the acquisition order is obtained.In the error section,the errors of learners at different stages are discussed,and five types of errors of "interactive verbs" are analyzed:wrong order,omission,redundancy,misrepresentation and collocation.The corpus corpus and questionnaire results are compared to explore the causes of different types of errors at different stages.Finally,on the basis of the analysis of the acquisition and errors of "interactive verbs",in order to enable the teaching of "interactive verbs" to be implemented in better teaching practice,the author puts forward several improvement strategies from two aspects of teaching materials and teaching.From the perspective of textbooks:1)setting up the content of textbooks in stages to make the difficulty of textbooks consistent with the level of students;2)detailing the interpretation of textbooks so as to make the meaning and collocation of "interactive verbs" clear at a glance in the part of new words in textbooks;3)strengthening word practice,setting up the practice of"interactive verbs" according to students’ errors in textbooks.From the perspective of teaching:1)In staged teaching,teachers should have different emphasis in each stage of teaching;2)focus on extension and summary,teachers should sufficiently summarize the characteristics and usage of "interactive verbs" while expanding the teaching of words;3)strengthen the comparison between Chinese and Thai,so that students can consciously remind themselves of the differences between Chinese and Thai,and reduce errors. |
