From the perspective of cognitive linguistics,this paper examines the three dimensions of semantics,pragmatics and syntax of the movement verb "qu" and explores the looming situation of the word "qu".Basing on the CCL corpus of Peking University,it can be summarized and divided into three categories: the forced appearance,the free looming phenomenon and the forced disappearance.Basing on the retrieval of HSK dynamic composition corpus,this article makes a statistical analysis of the errors of the word "qu" which respectively includes addition,omission,misuses and disorder,pointing out the reasons for the errors which are negative transfer of mother tongue,generalization of target language and improper arrangement of textbooks.Lastly,this dissertation gives three teaching suggestions:stage teaching,contrast teaching and scene teaching.
