A Narrative Study Of Sports Movies On Ice And Snow In My Country

The successful bidding of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games has brought opportunities for the popularization and promotion of ice and snow sports.As the propaganda content of ice and snow sports,ice and snow sports movies record the track of the times,reflect the achievements of sports undertakings,and undertake the mission of promoting the theme of the times.This kind of film combines the spirit of Winter Olympics,the knowledge of ice and snow sports and the connotation of winter culture.It has entertainment and educational functions.Its dissemination is bound to catalyze the rapid development and wide dissemination of winter sports in China,and has multicultural research value.Based on the research of film narrative,this paper uses the methods of documentation,mathematical statistics,case analysis and logical analysis to study the representative works of ice and snow sports movies in China since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.This paper focuses on the narrative time,space,perspective and structure of sports movies with ice and snow themes.Based on the theories of narratology and communication,this paper explores the characteristics of sports films with ice and snow theme in China through case studies of existing sports films with ice and snow theme.The research results show that the narrative style of sports films with ice and snow themes in China is distinct and distinctive.Compared with foreign sports movies with similar themes,the works of different periods have strong Chinese characteristics.The narrative theme has a prominent sense of the times,and the artistic expression is strong in realism and lyricism.The main narrative time is linear time,and the main narrative sequence is reverse order.The narrative space revolves around the theme of the story,showing the space of the protagonist’s activities,recording the ice and snow sports scenes in different times,with a distinct brand of the times.The choice of narrative point of view serves the needs of narrative realism and lyricism.It has both objective point of view and omniscient point of view.Thenarrative structure is mainly linear narrative,highlighting the realistic features of sports films with ice and snow themes.In narrative ethics,sports films with ice and snow themes were initially dominated by the feelings of home and country and competitive spirit,focusing on portraying the image of champions and winners,gradually returning to humanistic care and shifting to the perspective of small people and mass sports.In China,sports films with ice and snow themes have excellent works in different historical stages,and the artistic level of narration has reached a certain height.But on the whole,the number of sports movies with this kind of theme is not large,the attraction to the audience is insufficient,and the scope of dissemination is limited.From the point of view of prospering sports cultural activities,effectively promoting the spread of ice and snow sports culture and improving the influence of movies,sports movies with ice and snow themes need to link with the reality of the development of ice and snow sports in China,further broaden the scope of selection of ice and snow sports themes,and improve the artistic level of narrative means,so as to promote sports electricity with ice and snow themes.The attraction of film will enhance the achievement of film art and the overall level of development.
