As a branch of modern film genre,sports film is a film genre formed after long-term development with people and things related to sports as the theme,taking sports as the core,character shaping as the basis,to foil fairness,health and competitive spirit as the purpose,and to shock people with visual impact.After China successfully held the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008,the sports film market gradually began to grow,especially in the number of sports films,theme creation,production technology,publicity and marketing and many other aspects of a broader space.In the previous researches,scholars mainly studied the cultural connotation,sports spirit,film theme and other aspects from the perspective of sports films,and achieved targeted research results,but it is not applicable to the development of the entire sports film market.The purpose of this paper is to deeply explore the development potential of China’s sports film market through the analysis and study of the competitive advantages of China’s sports film market from 2008 to 2019,so as to make China’s sports film market more competitive in China and even in the world,and reduce the distance between China and countries with better development of the sports film market.This paper takes the Chinese sports film market from 2008 to 2019 as the research object,based on the diamond model and comprehensively uses scientific research methods such as literature method,data analysis method and case analysis method to analyze and study the competitive advantages of the Chinese sports film market,which can not only promote the dissemination of sports culture and sports spirit in China,It can also promote the development of sports industry and cause.Based on the research of China’s sports film market from 2008 to 2019,this paper firstly analyzes the development stage of China’s sports film market and the market,and then systematically analyzes the current development status of China’s sports film market from five aspects: production market,cinema market,ticket price and box office market,product market and consumer market.Finally,based on the diamond model,the competitive advantages of China’s sports film market from 2008 to 2019 are analyzed,and the following conclusions are drawn: 1.China’s sports film market has competitive advantages in the aspects of primary factors of production,market demand,development channels,etc.Second,China’s sports film market is at a competitive disadvantage in the aspects of enterprise financing in the capital elements and compound talents in the human resources elements;Third,film derivative manufacturing in related and supportive industries is at a competitive disadvantage relative to government policies.According to the above conclusion,through the analysis of the diamond model to our country sports movie market,clear the existing problems and deficiencies,on the premise of keep sports movie market competition advantage and complement each other,and connecting with the domestic and foreign research present situation of foreign sports film market competitive advantage in the analysis,in order to promote our country sports film market competitiveness put forward the following countermeasures:First,improve market laws and regulations,especially the law of intellectual property protection,to protect the intellectual property rights of the products produced by the producer;Second,improve the professional training system of sports film market to provide reserve talents for the development of sports film market;Third,improve the financing model of film enterprises to promote the long and steady development of sports film market;Fourth,diversify the theme of sports movies and get rid of the era of single theme;Fifth,attach importance to the development of sports film derivatives,and further improve the industry chain of sports film market.
