The Exploration Of The View Of Freedom In Marx's "Manuscript Of Economics And Philosophy In 1844"

Marx has devoted all his life to the liberation of all mankind and to the free and overall development of human beings.The theme of freedom has run through the Marxist Theory,featuring an important role in the entire doctrine of Marxism.Marx’s view of freedom has gone through an abstract-to-concrete development history.Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844 was a book of significant position in the formation of Marx’s view of freedom,in which Marx liberated the body of freedom from Hegel’s “Absolute Spirit”,took in the rational kernel of Feuerbach’s humanism,and preliminarily concluded the body of freedom as “the resemblance nature(Gattungswesen)of mankind”.Though Marx’s view of freedom during this period had not yet completed and,as a result,still carried certain drawbacks,it was still considered a major breakthrough.In this book,Marx also analyzed the ways of achieving freedom: the pursuit of freedom in practice,the achievement of freedom in the sublation of alienated labor and private property,realization of freedom in the dialectical unity of working hours and free time,as well as the final achievement of human beings’ free and overall development in a communist society.Based on the critical inheritance of Hegel’s and Feuerbach’s philosophy,Marx explained the basic ideas of the materialist conception of history,based on which Marx’s view of freedom has been developed and improved continuously.This paper mainly explores Marx’s view of freedom from three aspects.Firstly,the author summarized the theoretical sources and realistic basis of the formation and development of Marx’s view of freedom in Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844.The criticism,inheritance,and transcendence of Rousseau’s free thought,Hegel’s absolute spirit,and Feuerbach’s humanism constituted the theoretical sources of Marx’s view of freedom;the revealed truth of the false freedom in the capitalist society provided the realistic basis to Marx’s view of freedom.Secondly,the author explored main content of Marx’s view of freedom in Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844,discussed the core concept of Marx’s view of freedom therein,and clarified the position that the Manuscript assumes in the system of Marx’s view of freedom.In the end,the author probed into the role and contemporary significance of Marx’s view of freedom in Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844 and analyzed the specific measures to be taken under the guidance of Marx’s view of freedom in people’s view of freedom from the perspective of people’s misunderstandings in the field of view of freedom,thereby drawing forth the realistic significance of Marx’s view of freedom at present.The research of Manuscript of Economics and Philosophy in 1844 was an important path for our in-depth understanding of Marx’s view of freedom,which would in turn help solve the existing misunderstandings in view of freedom and help the subjects step out of the dilemma of freedomin the context of post-modern philosophy.At the same time,it could also promote the construction of core socialist values and the achievement of human beings’ free and overall development.
