| Aims Through this clinical study,we observed the effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with Directional Penetration Therapy of TCM in Treatment of T2 DM Peripheral Neuropathy of Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis for TCM syndrome scores,Toronto Clinical Scoring,Electromyogram Nerve Conduction Velocity, etc.and then its efficacy and safety evaluation, lay the foundation for clinical promotion. Methods This clinical study used randomized, controlled study methods to recruit patients with T2 DM Peripheral Neuropathy of Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis from March 2018 to February 2019,and They were randomly divided into two groups:The intervention group and The control group. All Subjects first entered the 2-week run-in period or washout period, and then entered the 4-week treatment period. In the treatment period,The control group was given mecobalamin tablets, and The Intervention group was based on The control group, adding Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with Directional Penetration Therapy of TCM.The changes of TCM Syndrome Scores,Toronto Clinical Scoring,Electromyogram Nerve Conduction Velocity, etc, were observed before and after intervening and The data was performed by SPSS21.0 to Comprehensive evaluation of efficacy and safety.Results(1)Comparison of Blood Glucose: Intra-group comparison, there was no significant difference in FBG after intervening(P > 0.05),Comparison among groups, there was no significant difference in FBG after intervening(P > 0.05).Intra-group comparison, there was no significant difference in 2h PG after intervening(P > 0.05),Comparison among groups, there was no significant difference in 2h PG after intervening(P > 0.05).(2)Comparison of TCM Syndrome Scores: After intervening,TCM Syndrome Scores in both groups were lower than those before intervening, and Intra-group comparison, there was a significant difference after intervening(P < 0.01);Comparison among groups, there was a significant difference after intervening(P < 0.01).(3)Comparison of TCM Syndrome Effects: After intervening, the total effective rate was 86.05% in The intervention group and 62.79% in The control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).(4)Comparison of Toronto Clinical Scoring: After intervening,Toronto Clinical Scoring of the two groups was lower than that before intervening, and Intra-group comparison, there was a significant difference after intervening(P < 0.01).Comparison among groups, there was a significant difference after intervening(P < 0.01).(5)Comparison of Electromyogram Nerve Conduction Velocity: The difference about the Sensory conduction velocity of Median nerve among two groups after intervening was statistically significant(P <0.05).The intervention group was statistically significant before and after intervening(P <0.05),and the other group was not statistically significant(P >0.05).The difference about the Sensory conduction velocity of Superficial peroneal nerve among two groups after intervening was statistically significant(P <0.01).The intervention group was statistically significant before and intervening(P <0.05),and the other group was not statistically significant(P >0.05).The difference about the Motor conduction velocity of Median nerve among two groups after intervening was statistically significant(P <0.01).The intervention group was statistically significant before and after intervening(P <0.01),and the other group was statistically significant(P <0.05).The difference about the Motor conduction velocity of Tibial nerve among two groups after intervening was statistically significant(P <0.01).The intervention group was statistically significant before and after intervening(P <0.01),and the other group was statistically significant(P <0.01).The difference about the Motor conduction velocity of Common peroneal nerve among two groups after intervening was statistically significant(P <0.01).The intervention group was statistically significant before and after intervening(P <0.01),and the other group was statistically significant(P <0.01).Conclusion Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with Directional Penetration Therapy of TCM has a certain effect on Treatment of T2 DM Peripheral Neuropathy of Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis, which can improve the clinical symptoms and TCM syndrome scores of patients with DPN,significantly reduce Toronto Clinical Scoring and improve the Electromyogram Nerve Conduction Velocity, and the safety is good. |
