Exploring The Psychological Mechanism Model Of Adolescent Drug Abuse

The problem of drug abuse has been the focus of attention all over the world.It not only does great harm to the individual’s physical and mental security but also seriously threatens the social stability.Teenagers are the future of a nation,of a country,of the world and of mankind.It is of great strategic and practical significance to study the problem of youth drug abuse,which is related to social stability and economic development.In this study,210 junior high school students from a middle school in Chongqing and 190 drug addicts from a compulsory drug treatment center in Tianjin were surveyed by using the risk factor assessment scale for adolescent drug abuse.Statistical tools such as SPSS25.0 and Mplus8.0 were used for data analysis,and the following results were obtained:There are significant differences between adolescents and drug addicts in parenting rearing patterns and drug abuse identification,which is reflected in that adolescents are more active in parental rearing patterns than drug addicts and have a lower degree of drug abuse identification.There is no significant correlation between positive parenting rearing style and drug abuse identification.Through the whole sample,a chain mediation model can be established.The negative parenting rearing style can generate the identification of drug abuse through delay of gratification,and it can also generate the identification of drug abuse through impulsiveness and delay of gratification.In adolescent population,Impulsiveness has a complete mediating effect between negative parenting rearing style and drug abuse identification;Delay of gratification has a complete mediating effect between negative parenting rearing style and drug abuse identification.However,when Impulsiveness and delay of gratification were added to the model,there was no chain mediating effect between negative parenting rearing style drug abuse identification.In the group of drug addicts,Impulsiveness has a complete mediating effect between negative parenting rearing style and drug abuse identification;Delay of gratification has a complete mediating effect between negative parenting rearing style and drug abuse identification.When impulsiveness and delay of gratification were added to the model,there was a chain mediating effect between negative parenting rearing style and drug abuse identification,and chain mediating effect accounted for 9.67% of the total effect.By comparing the mediation model of addicts and adolescents,there is no significant difference in the mediation effect between the Impulsiveness mediation model and the delay ofgratification mediation model,so the accuracy of the established two simple mediation models of adolescents can be proved.Based on the above conclusions,these results can be drawn:(1).In adolescents,although the negative parenting rearing style does not directly affect the drug abuse identification,it will affect the drug abuse identification by affecting individual impulsion and delay of gratification.It can be seen that the family factor is still a potential key factor.(2).Although the external risk factor is one of the important factors,the individual himself is always the essential factor.(3).In the adolescent population,delay of gratification has a more significant impact on the identification of drug abuse than individual impulsion,so parents and teachers should pay attention to train their ability to "learn to wait".(4).By comparing the data of adolescents and addicts,it can be seen that drug abuse identification does have a certain influence on drug abuse.Therefore,in the process of adolescent growth,parents should adopt a democratic upbringing,actively pay attention to the children’s life,pay attention to the cultivation of good psychological quality of personality,improve the children’s attention to life and health and social public safety awareness.Schools and Communities should vigorously publicize the harm of drug abuse,and adopt new media publicity methods to expand the scope of publicity.
