Clinical Observation Of Eye Acupuncture Therapy For Migraine Without Aura

Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of eye acupuncture and body acupuncture on migraine without aura and the difference between them,so as to provide a better treatment for migraine without aura.Material and method:60 patients in brain K3 ward of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine were selected.They met the diagnosis standard of migraine without aura.The treatment time was from May 2018 to November 2019.60 patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group(30 in experimental group and 30 in control group).The experimental group was treated with eye acupuncture,the main points were taken from the upper focus area,and the matching points increased with the syndrome.The control group was treated with body acupuncture,the main points were Baihui,Touwei and Fengchi,and the matching points increased with the syndrome.Acupuncture is done once a day,and the acupuncture time is fixed to ensure that the acupuncture is done once every 24 hours or so.After each acupuncture,the needle is kept for 20 minutes,and then the needle is taken out.The acupuncture is a course of treatment for 7 consecutive days,a total of two courses of treatment.Before and after treatment,the visual analogue scale(VAS),the number of headache attacks,the duration of headache,accompanying symptoms and the total score of headache were observed.Then input the data into SPSS 24.0 software for statistical analysis and comparison,so as to explore the clinical effect of eye acupuncture and body acupuncture on migraine without aura.Results: 1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age and syndrome differentiation(P > 0.05).2.After treatment,the VAS score,headache attack times,duration and accompanying symptoms of the two groups were improved.3.After the treatment,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The experimental group was better than the control group in reducing VAS score,attack frequency,duration and accompanying symptoms.4.After treatment,the total scores of the two groups were reduced.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Compared with the clinical effect,the two groups have significant effect.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The effective rate of the experimental group was 96.7% and that of the control group was 80.0%,indicating that the experimental group was also better than the control group in terms of the effective rate.Conclusion: 1.Eye acupuncture and body acupuncture have curative effect on migraine without aura.2.Eye acupuncture can obviously improve the attack frequency,pain degree,duration and accompanying symptoms of migraine without aura,and the effect is better than body acupuncture.3.The clinical effect of eye acupuncture is better than that of the control group,and the effective rate is also better than that of the control group.4.Eye acupuncture can be widely used in clinic as one of the effective methods to treat migraine without aura.
