Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Third Lumbar Vertebra Transverse Process Syndrome With Acupotomy Combined With Sealing Under The Guidance Of C-arm

Purpose:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the needle-knife combined with block therapy guided by C-shaped arm X-ray in the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome(TLTPS).Material and method: The patients who were diagnosed as TLTPS in the Outpatient Department of Orthopaedics of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine University from September 2017 to January 2020 were selected,According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 cases were selected,The random number table method was used to divide the patients into X-ray guided groups(C-shaped arm guided needle knife combined with block therapy group,n = 30)and traditional therapy group(traditional needle knife combined with block therapy group,n = 30).Both groups of patients received once treatment.The patients were followed up before and 1 week,2 weeks,and 4 weeks after treatment.The visual analogue score(VAS),Japanese Orthopedic Association lumbar pain score(JOA),and Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)were used to evaluate the efficacy and analyze the results.Results:All 60 patients were followed up.There was no significant difference between the two groups in age,gender,course of disease,pre-treatment,VAS score,ODI index,and JOA score(P> 0.05),which were comparable.The pain symptoms of most patients disappeared immediately after treatment,and the improvement of X-ray guided groups was more significant than that of traditional therapy group at 1 week,2 weeks,and 4 weeks,and it was statistically significant(P <0.05).The effective rate in the X-ray guided groups was 96.67%,and the effective rate in the traditional therapy group was 80.00%.Conclusion:1.Needle-knife combined with block therapy is an effective method for TLTPS with stable short-term effect.2.The clinical effect of X-ray guided needle knife combined with block therapy in the treatment of TLTPS is better than that of traditional needle knife combined with block therapy,and it is more accurate and safe.
