| Objective: To investigate the effect of herbal antibacterial gel on the skin barrier function of the Rosacea with Fire Invading Lung and stomach syndrome and its clinical effectiveness and safety,evaluate the long-term recurrence rate of patients by taking Chinese medicine orally and externally,and briefly explore its mechanism of action,to provide more ideas and basis for the treatment of rosacea with Chinese medicine external preparations in terms of improving the efficiency,shortening the course of treatment and reducing the long-term recurrence rate.Methods: To select the patients who met the dermatology clinic of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to December 2019 and met the diagnostic criteria for rosacea(Fire Invading Lung and stomach syndrome)as the subjects to complete the introduction period of traditional Chinese medicine Afterwards,patients with intermediate grades according to clinical scores were enrolled.A total of 60 patients were selected and divided into a test group and a control group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.After a washout period of 1 week,the test group external applicated Wangfu herbal antibacterial gel,used after cleansing the face,0.8-1g each time,evenly spread on the face,once in the morning and evening;the control group took external use of Winona Moisturizing cream,apply 0.8-1g each time after cleansing the face with water,evenly apply to the face,once in the morning and evening.The course of treatment was 8 weeks,and the changes in the total score,red pigment and the value of skin elasticity content of the two groups of patients were recorded at 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment.Finally,the adverse reactions were compared.Results: There were 57 valid subjects in this test,including 28 in the test group and 29 in the control group;There was no difference between the two groups in terms of skin lesion score and self-perceived score before and every treatment sessions,and there were differences in efficacy after 8 weeks of treatment(P <0.05);The effective rate in the experimental group was 53.57%,and the effective rate in the control group was 24.14%.The difference in efficacy was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the Wangfu herbal antibacterial gel could significantly improve the skin lesions of patients with rosacea;Between treatment sessions,there was no significant difference in skin water content and red pigment content between the twogroups(P> 0.05).After 8 weeks of total treatment,the test group was better than the control group,and the difference in efficacy was statistically significant(P<0.05);No adverse reactions occurred.During the 1-month follow-up after treatment,the relapse rate in the test group was 5.26%,and the relapse rate in the control group was 25%;during the 3-month follow-up treatment,the relapse rate in the test group was 5.26%,and the relapse rate in the control group was 41.67%.Statistically significant.Conclusion: Wangfu herbal antibacterial gel combined with has significant curative effect on rosacea,which can effectively increase the skin moisture content of patients,promote skin barrier repair,no obvious adverse reactions,economical,simple and easy to accept.From the perspective of long-term efficacy,Wangfu herbal antibacterial gel can effectively control the long-term relapse rate of patients and improve the quality of life of patients. |
