The Effect Of Acupuncture Combined With Huoluo Chuangming Decoction On GSH-Px And Na~+-K~+-ATPase In Elderly Amnesia Rats

Purpose:In this experiment,10%D-galactose was used in the cervix hypodermic injection to reproduct 60 senility amnesia rats model.Observe the objective effect of acupuncture combined with Huoluo Congming decoction on learning and memory abilities,GSH-Px,Na~+-K~+-ATPase and brain weight in aged rats.Explore the mechanism of this therapy and guide the clnical medicine.Material and method:This experiment selects more than 12 months old,SD male healthy rats as the studying object.Then,60 SD rats within the experimental criteria were randomly divided into 6 groups with 10 animals in each group.That were blank group,model group,Western medicine group,acupuncture group,traditional Chinese medicine group,and acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group.Established models by the cervical subcutaneous injection of 10%D-galactose for rats except Blank group,and kept this method continuously for 42days.After the senility amnesia models established successfully,different group was treated with different interventions.Blank group and model group were given routine diet without any treated.Western medicine group was treated with Lamiophlomis intragastric administration.Traditional Chinese medicine group was treated by means of intragastric administration contrasting with Huoluo Congming decoction.Acupuncture group was treated with Baihui acupoint acupuncture treatment.Baihui acupoint acupuncture was used with Huoluo Congming decoction intragastric administration to intervene acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group.After 30 days treatment,observed memorizing abilities,the brain weight,the active ingredient of GSH-Px and Na~+-K~+-ATPase in brain tissue.Results:1.After treatment,comparing with Model group,the correct time was promoted(P<0.01)and wrong times were decreased(P<0.01).Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group were also obviously better than that in Acupuncture group and Traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.01).No marked difference was among the Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(P>0.05).2.After treatment,comparing with Model group,the activity of GSH-Px and Na~+-K~+-ATPase in brain tissue were increased(P<0.01).Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group were also obviously better than that in Acupuncture group and Traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.01).No marked difference was among the Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(P>0.05).3.After treatment,comparing with Model group,the brain weight was decreased slowly(P<0.05).Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group were also obviously better than that in Acupuncture group and Traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).No marked difference was among the Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The treatment of acupuncture combined with Huoluo Congming decoction can improve the behavior,function of learning and memory,and brain atrophy of the senile amnesia rats.2.The treatment of acupuncture combined with Huoluo Congming decoction can improve the activity of Na~+-K~+-ATPase and GSH-Px in brain tissue of the senile amnesia rats.3.Our results indicate that the activity mechanism of the treatment of acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine may controlled by reducing the free-radical content and improving antioxidant ability in brain...
