| Purpose:To discuss the effects of Huoluo Congming soup with acupuncture Baihui point to the superoxide dismutase(SOD)liveness and oxidation reaction product malondialdehyde(MDA)content of the rat which were injected D – galactose under neck skin to be elderly forgetful model.To provide a new method for clinical treatment of senile amnesia.Material and method:Put 60 rats divide into groups randomly.The groups are: blank group,model group,traditional Chinese medicine group,acupuncture group,traditional Chinese medicine with acupuncture group and western medicine group,every group has 10 rats.In addition to the blank group,the rats in the other groups were treated with 10% d-galactose by subcutaneous injection in the neck of the rat,and the rat model of senile amnesia was prepared for 42 days.After the success of the building,use Huoluo Congming soup to fill to the stomach for Chinese traditional medicine group,acupuncture group adopted acupuncturing acupoints of Baihui and let the needle to stay 24 h,use pyrazole raschig temple to fill to the stomach for western medicine group,used Huoluo Congming soup to fill to the stomach and adopted acupuncturing acupoints of Baihui and let the needle stay 24 h for traditional Chinese medicine with acupuncture group.After 30 days of treatment,used Y-water maze to test,detected SOD activity,MDA content and brain weight.The experimental data were analyzed using spss16.0 statistical software package,which was used to test the water maze,SOD activity,MDA content and brain weight of rats in each group.All the measured data were in the mean and standard deviation(x ±S),P> 0.05 indicated no statistical significance,p< 0.05 indicated statistical significance,p<0.01 indicated significant statistical significance.Results: 1.After treatment,rats in each treatment group were significantly better than those in the model group.(p<0.01),the number of errors decreased significantly(P<0.01),the combination group of acupuncture and medicine was significantly better than the acupuncture group and the traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.01)There was no significant difference between the combination group and the western medicine group(P>0.05).2.After treatment,compared with the model group,the activity of SOD was significantly increased(P<0.01)in the western medicine group,traditional Chinese medicine group,acupuncture group and acupuncture with traditional Chinese medicine group,The content of MDA decreased significantly.(P<0.01).Compared with the western medicine group,there was no significant difference in SOD activity in the serum of the acupuncture group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in MDA content(P>0.05).Compared with the traditional Chinese medicine group,SOD activity of acupuncture with traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly increased.(P<0.01),The content of MDA was significantly decreased.(P<0.01).Compared with acupuncture group,SOD activity of acupuncture with traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly increased.(P<0.01).The content of MDA was significantly decreased(P<0.01).3.After treatment,the brain weight of each group was increased compared with that of the model group(P<0.05),The efficacy of acupuncture with traditional Chinese medicine group was better than that of acupuncture group and Chinese medicine group(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the efficacy between acupuncture with traditional Chinese medicine group and western medicine group(P>0.05)Conclusion: 1.The combination of acupuncture and Huoluo Congming soup can improve the activity of SOD in rat serum,decrease the content of MDA in serum,and reduce brain atrophy of rats.2.Huoluo Congming soup and acupuncture at Baihui point can effectively increase the activity of SOD in serum of rats,reduce the MDA content in serum,the effect of combination of traditional Chinese medicine with acupuncture application is significantly better than that of single therapy. |
