The Effect Of Acupuncture Combined With Huoluo Chuangming Decoction On T-AOC And CAT In Elderly Amnesia Rats

Objective: To observe the changes of behavioral indexes,T-AOC activity,CAT activity and brain tissue weight in aged forgetful rats by subcutaneous injection of10% D-galactose into the neck,and to explore the combination of acupuncture at Baihui acupoint and Huoluo Smart Decoction.The mechanism of simultaneous treatment of senile amnesia and clinical guidance.Materials and Methods: 60 healthy male SD rats of SPF grade were randomly divided into 6 groups: blank control group,model control group,western medicine treatment group,traditional Chinese medicine treatment group,acupuncture treatment group and acupuncture treatment group,with 10 rats in each group.In addition to the blank control group,rats in each group were subcutaneously injected with 10%D-galactose in the neck to replicate the model.The model was made for 42 days.Five rats were randomly selected from the blank group and other groups after 42 days.The success of the model was tested by Y-water maze.After confirming the successful replication of the model,the western medicine treatment group was treated with piracetam(Naofukang)suspension by gastric lavage;the Chinese medicine control group was treated with Huoluo Smart Decoction by gastric lavage;the acupuncture treatment group was treated with Baihui acupoint acupuncture,and then fixed with adhesive cloth for 24 hours,the next day;the acupuncture treatment group was treated with the same method as the acupuncture group and Chinese medicine by gastric lavage.After 30 days of treatment,the behavioral indexes of Y-type water maze,the activity of T-AOC and CAT enzymes in brain tissue and brain weight of rats in each group were tested,and the experimental data were analyzed by SPSS 16.0 statistical software.The measured data are expressed as mean and square deviation(+S).P > 0.05 showed no statistical significance,P < 0.05 showed statistical significance,P < 0.01 showed significant statistical significance.Result:1.After treatment,compared with the model control group,the time for Y-water maze to find the right pathway was significantly increased(P < 0.01)and the number of errors was significantly reduced(P < 0.01).Among them,the treatment group of acupuncture and medicine and the treatment group of Western medicine were significantly better than the treatment group of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine(P < 0.01).The treatment group of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine was better than that of the treatment group of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine(P < 0.01).There was no difference between the two groups(P >0.05).2.After treatment,compared with the model control group,the activity of T-AOC and CAT in brain tissue of rats in each treatment group was significantly increased(P <0.01).Among them,the activity of T-AOC and CAT in the acupuncture treatment group and the western medicine treatment group was significantly better than that in the acupuncture treatment group and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group(P < 0.01).There was no difference between the acupuncture treatment group and the western medicine treatment group,between the acupuncture treatment group and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group(P > 0.05).3.After treatment,the weight of brain tissue decreased more slowly in each treatment group than in the model control group(P < 0.05).Among them,the acupuncture treatment group and the western medicine treatment group were better than the acupuncture treatment group and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group(P< 0.05).There was no difference between the acupuncture treatment group and the Western medicine treatment group,between the acupuncture treatment group and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with Huoluo Mingming Decoction can effectively improve the learning and memory ability and brain atrophy of aged amnesia rats.2.Acupuncture combined with Huoluo Smart Decoction can effectively improve the activity of T-AOC and CAT in brain tissue of aged amnesia rats.3.Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Huoluo Mingming Decoction can reduce the content of free radicals in brain tissue and improve the antioxidant capacity of brain tissue.
