Group Work Involves Practical Research Supported By Patients Of Breast Cancer Patients

Breast cancer has become an important disease threatening women's health,ranking the first among female malignant tumors.Today,despite the ever-changing technology,the physical pain and psychological problem still afflicts every breast cancer patient and their loved ones.The author found that some breast cancer patients could not face the fact of their disease for a long time,have a bias in their cognition of the disease,have a weak degree of others support,and could not solve their emotional troubles in time,and often digest them alone.Their social support mainly comes from two aspects: family support and medical support.Usually,the support brought by medical support is very limited.Family support is its main social support force,but it is difficult to meet the various support needs of patients.Therefore,the author tries to improve the social support of breast cancer patients from the following aspects: emotional support,information support,cognitive support and the expansion of other support resources.In daily observation and interview,it is found that breast cancer patients are effective and expandable support resource for patients.According to the group characteristics of the patients,the author designed a series of group activities.In the process of communication,the level of activity content setting provide psychological guidance for breast cancer patients,assist them to explore and integrate internal and external support resources,and meet all aspects of support needs of breast cancer patients.After the activity,the author evaluated the effect of the group activity by means of self-assessment of social workers,interview from group members and comparison the results before and after the life expectancy scale.The results of the scale showed that the life expectancy index of the group members was significantly improved.And the support activities of the patients had a good effect on the emotional,information and cognitive support of breast cancer patients,it was a beneficial exploration to enhance the social support degree for breast cancer patients.
