From The Perspective Of Social Support,the Intervention Of The Group Work Of The Caregivers Of The Relatives Of Patients With End-cancer Patients

In January 2019,the National Cancer Center released the latest National Cancer statistical data.According to the report,on average,more than 10000 people are confirmed as cancer every day,and 7.5 people are confirmed as cancer every minute.In 2018,there were 3.804 million new cases and 2.296 million deaths in China,ranking the first in the number of cancer incidence and death in the world.Around numerous cancer patients,there is a huge group of cancer patients’ relatives caregivers,among which the most special one is the relatives caregivers of terminal cancer patients.They bear the responsibility of caring for patients,pay around the patient day and night,and bear great physical and mental pressure,which seriously affects their physiological and psychological conditions.In the past,people mostly pay attention to the cancer patients themselves,but little attention to the relatives caregivers.This paper takes the relatives caregivers of cancer patients as the research object,and analyzes the social support they need from the perspective of social support.Finally,the author selected 11 relatives caregivers from the oncology department of S Hospital of Yangzhou City as the service objects,through questionnaire survey and interview to understand their actual situation and what social support they use to deal with the pressure and difficulties encountered in the care process,discussed how relatives caregivers deal with the difficulties through formal support and informal support,and analyzed the social support of relatives caregivers The reasons for the inefficiency,and to sort out the existing social support network.Based on the experience of domestic and foreign services and the practice of Oncology Department of Yangzhou S Hospital,according to the actual needs and social support status of caregivers of relatives of patients with terminal cancer,five group activities were designed and carried out,with the theme of ice breaking mutual understanding,emotional detoxification,nursing skills learning,medical policy link,life and death peace,to enhance the relatives of patients with terminal cancer on the basis of practice It belongs to the social support of caregivers.The author found that the caregivers of cancer patients’ relatives have four problems overburdened nursing care and decreased physical health;deliberately hiding sad emotions and bearing huge psychological pressure;poor access to information and limited support resources;alienation and discrimination and loss of basic social life.They are faced with mastering nursing skills,pressure relief and emotional support,obtaining financial support Maintenance of work and social interaction.Due to the lack of support subjects,the absence of system design and the one-sided support forms,the formal social support of relatives caregivers of cancer patients is weak and the informal social support is deficient.Through the intervention of group work,the social support network of relatives caregivers of cancer patients is reconstructed from three aspects:enriching the support types,constructing multiple support subjects and innovating the embedded support forms of social work.As a result,the psychological pressure of family caregivers is effectively relieved,negative emotions are improved,a correct view of life and death is established,and the significance of death and separation and life is re recognized.The group activities have clear objectives,strong pertinence and obvious effects,which provide some suggestions and references for the development of social support construction services for relatives caregivers of cancer patients in the future.
