Clinical Study Of Jinkuishenqi Decoction Combined With Endocrine Therapy For Stage III And IV Prostate Cancer (sickness Of Kidney-yang Deficiency)

Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of Jingui Shenqi Decoction combined with endocrine therapy for kidney-yang deficiency type of stage ? and ? prostate cancer.Methods:According to the randomized principle,totally 68 patients with stage ? and ? prostate cancer were divided into treatment group and control group,34 cases in each group.In the course of the study,due to irregular use of drugs,failure to follow the regulations,and active termination of tests for their own reasons,the treatment group and the control group fell off 2 cases each.In the end,the number of effective cases in each group was 32 cases.Patients were treated with endocrine therapy combined with Jingui Shenqi Decoction in the treatment group,while simple endocrine therapy in the control group.The course of treatment was 3 months..The recent efficacy,serum prostate specific antigen(PSA),the international prostate symptom score(I-PSS),TCM syndrome score,quality of life,and safety index of the two groups before and after treatment were observed.Results:(1)Recent efficacy: there was no significant differences in the comparison of the solid tumors between the two groups(P>0.05).Serum PSA quantification: both serum total prostate specific antigen(tPSA)and free prostate specific antigen(fPSA)in the treatment group were lower than in the control group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).I-PSS score:the I-PSS score in the two groups significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.01),while the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.01).TCM syndrome score:TCM syndromes improved after treatment in both groups(P<0.01),while the treatment group improved significantly better than the control group(P<0.01).Quality of life: KPS scores increased after treatment in both groups(P<0.01),while the treatment group improved better than the control group(P<0.05).(2)Safety assessment:there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05),which were characterized by decreased libido,abnormal sweating,and liver and renal damage.Conclusion:The present study shows that the combination of Jingui Shenqi Decoction and endocrine therapy in patients with stage ? and ? prostate cancer has the effects of inhibiting serum PSA,improving patients 'symptoms,improving quality of life,and improving TCM syndromes.There is no toxic side effect related to Jingui Shenqi Decoction in the research process.The results show that Jingui Shenqi Decoction combined with endocrine therapy in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer patients with kidney-yang deficiency syndrome has a certain effect,which is worth further clinical clinical research..
