Clinical Study Of Yishen Huayu Jiedu Recipe Combined With Endocrine Therapy In The Treatment Of Advanced Prostate Cancer

Objective:The aim of this research was to observe and analyze the clinical efficacy of Yishen Huayu Jiedu Decoction combined with endocrine therapy in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer(kidney deficiency.and blood stasis type),and to assess the degree of the improvement of quality of life and side effects of endocrine therapy in patients with advanced prostate cancer.Method:From February 2019 to October 2020,64 patients with advanced prostate cancer,who diagnosed as kidney deficiency and blood stasis type were picked in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.The grouping plan was dividing the patients into two group stochasticly,and ensuring both the treatment group and the control group had 32 cases.The therapeutic schedule of treatment group was Yishen Huayu Jiedu Decoction combined with endocrine therapy.Meanwhile the therapeutic schedule of control group was endocrine therapy only.The objective remission rate of tumor,serum PSA level,International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),partial androgen deficiency in aging male(PADAM)score and TCM syndrome score were recorded during the treatment process for 6 months.The analysis of the recorded data was calculated by Spss22.0 statistical software.Meanwhile the difference between the two groups of results before and after treatment were compared.Results:1.During the study period,4 patients failed to complete the treatment due to disease progression or serious adverse reactions or not taking drugs on time.They were included in the elimination.and shedding cases and not included in the statistical analysis.Therefore,60 patients were finally observed,30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group.The age,KPS score,Gleason score and metastasis sites of the two groups were statistically analyzed before treatment,there was no statistical difference(P>0.05),indicating that the comparability of the two groups.2.Objective comparison of tumor objective efficacy:Orr and DCR of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group,but there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).3.Comparison of serum PSA levels:The PSA levels of the treatment group and the control group were significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.01),and the difference was statistically significant.But there was no significant difference between the two groups of serum PSA levels after treatment(P>0.05).4.Comparison of International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS):The prostate symptoms of the two groups were significantly improved after treatment(P<0.05),and the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the control group was also lower than that of the treatment group,but there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).5.Comparison of partial androgen deficiency in aging males(PADAM)score:The total score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group after treatment,and there was a high statistical difference(P<0.01).The scores of physical symptoms,vasomotor symptoms,mental and psychological symptoms of the treatment group were significantly lower.than those of the control group,and there was a high statistical difference(P<0.01).Meanwhile the scores of sexual dysfunction symptoms of the two groups were similar,and there was no significant improvement P>0.05).6.Comparison of TCM syndrome score:The total effective rate of the treatment group was.significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).And the treatment group of five upset heat,hot flashes and sweating,week waist scores were lower than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Yishen Huayu Jiedu recipe combined with endocrine therapy can effectively improve the objective clinical efficacy of advanced prostate cancer;2.Yishen Huayu Jiedu recipe combined with endocrine therapy can improve IPSS score and prostate symptoms;3.Yishen Huayu Jiedu recipe combined with endocrine therapy can reduce the side effects of endocrine therapy,especially androgen deficiency syndrome after castration,and improve the quality of life of patients with advanced prostate cancer.
