OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is that by observing the clinical curative effect of the dragon-tiger fighting method of acupuncture treatment of periarthritis of the shoulder,and to compare with mild reinforcing-reducing.To explore the effects of the dragon-tiger fighting method intervention in patients with periarthritis of shoulder pain and joint mobility,to provide clinical basis for the dragon-tiger fighting method of acupuncture treatment of periarthritis of shoulder.METHODS: 55 cases patients who met the criteria were divided into two groups according to a random number table.The treatment group was 27 cases of the dragon-tiger fighting group and 28 cases of mild reinforcing-reducing group.Both groups selected affected side LI15,SJ14,SI9,ST36,GB34,BL62,DU14.The first step,the two groups were used mild reinforcing-reducing method in ST36,GB34,BL62,when needle conveying told the patient to do the activity of the shoulder joints.The second step,the two groups were used mild reinforcing-reducing method in DU14.The third step,the treatment group were used the dragon-tiger fighting method in LI15,SJ14,SI9;the control group were used mild reinforcing-reducing method in LI15,SJ14,SI9.Both groups once a day for 30 min and two course of treatment respectively for 6 days.A total of two courses of treatment were observed.The patients with shoulder periarthritis were evaluated for VAS-P?ADL?ROM.all data were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 software.RESULTS:1.The treatment group and the control group were statistically proxessed.There was no significant difference on VAS-P ? ADL ? ROM between the two groups before treatment(P<0.05).The two groups are comparable.There was significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).2.There was a significant difference between the cure rate of the treatment group and the cure rate of the control group.Overt cure rate for the treatment group is81.48% wheres overt cure rate for the control group was 57.14%(P<0.05).In conclusion:1.Both group has shown to be effective to relieve pain and improve function of periarthritis of the shouder.The treatment group is more effective as compared tothe control group.2.The dragon-tiger fighting method is worthy of clinical promotion.
