| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Tangbi Decoction in treating type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)with Yin deficiency and biood stasis syndrom,and to provide effective and direct treatment and dalay of DPN.Methods:Sixty patients with western type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy were include in the standard and wereclassified as Yin deficiency and biood stasis by TCM syndrome differentiation.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Patients in the two groups were given basic treatment to control blood glucose and blood pressure,etc.,and at the same time oral treatment of mecobalamine tablets(0.5mg oral three times a day),the treatment group on this basis with tang bi fumigation to wash the affected area for 15-20 min,once in the morning and once in the evening;In both groups,20 days were taken as one course of treatment and 3 courses of treatment were observed.To observed the changes of TCM syndrome score,nerve conduction velocity,Toronto clinical scoring system(TCSS)and glucose and lipid metabolism before and after treatment in the two groups.All the date were analyzed with SPSS21.0 ststistical software.Results:The comparison of basic data(gender,age,course of disease,etc.)between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups decreased(P < 0.05),the nerve conduction velocity increased(P< 0.05),and the TCSS decreased(P < 0.05),the treatment group was superiror to the control group,the difference was statistically significant.There was no significant difference in glucose and lipid metabolism before and after treatment(P> 0.05).No obvious abnormalities,adverse reactions or harmful events were observed in the safety indexes(three major routine tests,liver and kidney functions,and electrocardiogram)before and after treatment in the two groups. |
