ICAO's Policy To Promote The Sustainable Development Of The Global Civil Aviation Industry

The vigorous development of global civil aviation industry promotes the continuous expansion of trade and economy.However,the rapid growth of air transport is a double-edged sword: on the one hand,it shows that the quality of life is improving,social mobility is increasing,and prosperity is more popular;on the other hand,when the regulatory and infrastructure services required by civil aviation transport do not match the rapid development of air transport,it will lead to the increase of safety risks.In order to control the risk within the avoidable range,improve the aviation safety and realize the aviation transportation modernization,ICAO has held many meetings and formulated a series of documents and put forward a series of strategic methods to ensure the needs and interests of Member States and global economies.The core content of this paper is that ICAO promotes the sustainable development of global civil aviation.By analyzing the development process,strategic documents and main measures of ICAO over the years,this paper discusses the achievements,influences,problems and challenges of ICAO in promoting the sustainable development,which proves that ICAO can promote the sustainable development of civil aviation in the globalization of civil aviation Sustainable development plays an important role in this process.
