Research On The Rehabilitation Landscape Design Of Elderly Care Facilities Under The Concept Of Evidence-based Design

The aging trend of population is a hot topic in the world today contemporarily.In order to cope with the accelerated development of China’s population aging process,all kinds of domestic pension facilities rise in response to social needs,and the construction and research of the elderly living environment has also attracted extensive attention from the academic community.The elderly to carry out the moderate exercise outdoors to delay function decline and promote physical and mental health has prominent efficiency.The problem of formalism or the low utilization rate of the landscape environment endowment in existing pension facilities is widely exists.It is imperative to enhance the scientific nature of the design practice and research and to create positive intervention landscape environment for the elderly to participate in the recovery efficiency of outdoor activities.Accordingly,this dissertation starts from the elderly people’s basic characteristics and basic theoretical research of rehabilitation landscape.The evidence-based method is used a reference to guide which is used in the research of medicine and architecture.The evidence-based method is a research method takes the best practice evidence as the core problem.The evidence-based framework for the research of rehabilitation landscape design for pension facilities in this paper dissertation if defined:In the stage of evidence exploration,three typical district-level outdoor landscape Spaces for pension facilities in Nanjing were selected as the research sites from the perspective of operation mode of pension institutions firstly.Secondly,through instant research methods such as on-the-spot reconnaissance and measurement,note and questionnaire survey,the information and data of objective material conditions in the field,the aging behavior and actual demand are collected.The acquired information is processed and analyzed through 3D information software and mathematical statistics software to get comprehensive assessment sites,landscape elements,landscape features of the applicability of the elderly users,namely according to the basic demands of the aging.The importance of the design field’s available environmental factors and use ways are learned preliminarily.In the optimal evidence decision-making stage,the evidence obtained from the above real state survey is adjusted to obtain the guiding principles of rehabilitation landscape design of pension facilities.And specific design strategies are proposed from the perspective of activity experience space design,perception experience design and detail element design.In the stage of evidence application,based on the best evidence obtained above,the reconstruction and design practiceof rehabilitation landscape of pension facilities is guided,so as to provide some inspiration for the design and research of rehabilitation landscape of pension facilities in China.
