China's economic development has entered a new era.The economy has shifted from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development.With the deepening of the reform of the power market,the general commodity attributes of power have been restored,and a competitive power market system has been gradually estab lished.Power generation enterprises,power selling companies and users can independently choose trading objects,determine trading volume and price,forming a "multi-buyer--multi-seller" market competition pattern.In this context,in addition to the traditional power generation business,thermal power generation enterprises gradually have a certain power sales function,need to find their own users,sales of electricity,the business model has changed,the business space has been broadened.At the same time,with the increase of the business uncertainty,thermal power generation enterprises had a huge impact.In this paper,based on the theory of strategic management,combining the actual operation of A power generation company in Inner Mongolia,through PEST analysis,porter five models,strategic analysis tools such as SWOT analysis matrix to analyze the enterprise's operation mode,in the current thermal power enterprises under the condition of both power and sell electricity business functions,the de velopment strategy of A company should be to the growth of Inner Mongolia as the main leading strategy,but also in the face of big market pressure environment,in the different business and different stages of the company to give priority to with low-cost strategy and differentiation strategy of combination of business competitive strategy,promote the sustainable development of A company in Inner Mongolia.Under the guidance of the overall strategy of the company,in the first stage,in terms of internal management of the group,we should establish professional management,actively improve the level of refined management,enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the enterprise,reduce the operating cost of the enterprise,and implement the low-cost strategy.In the second stage,in terms of external competition,we should adopt the differentiation strategy,seize the opportunity of power reform,improve service quality,follow market changes with service consciousness and marketing consciousness,and expand the production space of enterprises.Inner Mongolia A company needs to implement fine management,intensive operation and differentiated service according to specific business requirements to ensure the smooth implementation of various businesses of t he company and establish strategic control measures.
