Research On The Renewal Design Of Rural Communities Based On New Regionalism

With the gradual advancement of urban-rural integration and urbanization,rural transformation faces enormous challenges.Most of the existing rural construction in China has copied or borrowed the development model of urban communities,but people gradually ignored the original regional culture,spatial texture,customs and ecological environment.The youth labor force began to flow to the city,resulting in weak rural vitality and deteriorating living environment.Traditional villages seem to be uniform in space planning,and there is no special feature.Rural construction should pay attention to the laws of natural development and the basic requirements of human settlements.This paper interprets the current rural revitalization policy,sorts out the research status at home and abroad,and then elaborates the definition of relevant concepts,summarizing the research results of rural community renewal design.Taking the new regionalism theory as the starting point,through site research,we sorted out the site data of the Chenguang Village community in Dongshan Town,Suzhou,and proposed an updated design strategy plan.By integrating the superior resources in the rural community,we tried to restore its regional style,inherit and protect the local area.The history and culture,stimulate economic vitality,restore natural ecology,create a sustainable rural community environment system,and explore new directions for rural community development.
