| After the reform and opening-up policy issued by China government,some far-sighted foreign companies started to invest in China for sharing bonus as they find China labor advantage and China market potentials.There were many excellent western brands companies who not only brought investment but also excellent management philosophy to domestic enterprises,supply chain management is an important part of this.During initial period of reform and opening-up we did not pay more attention to management philosophy as well practice because of over pursuing demographic dividend.With reform deepening and government sparkplugging transitional development,manufacturing enterprises started to improve products quality level,in the meanwhile most suppliers could not adopt such change hence its poor performance became the bottleneck increasingly during enlarging business.Most enterprises began to be aware of that they should integrate the supplier source and enhance supplier management to improve the whole supply chain management level,then reduce purchasing cost and process risk,to adopt business trend in future.EH group firstly entering China market as a sales company in last 90’s,it began to expand its local facilities early this century of four individual product lines.These facilities own external direct material suppliers and internal IT service business unit.Respective management ways are required to different kinds of suppliers.Along with external environment change and business enlargement,more and more problems get rising from the original supply management system.The external supplier cannot meet parts requirement as well capacity,the internal service business unit supplier become low efficient.This paper focus on EH temperature product line company and analyzes supplier management system status,establish the new system in terms of supplier selection,supplier classification,supplier performance management and supplier relationship management,to help EH temperature product line company build stable and solid supplier base on business expansion road.According analysis to EH temperature product line supplier management problems and countermeasures,it can find not only typical problems in EH temperature product line company but also some general ones in many other enterprises.This could be helpful for enterprise improve its supplier management on a certain lever,then enhance its strategic thinking within this area. |
