The Software Design Of The Belt Conveyor Monitoring System Based On Ethernet

Belt conveyor is a kind of continuous transportation equipment in modern production.It has the characteristics of long distance,low freight,large capacity,convenient loading and unloading,low energy consumption,suitable for bulk material transportation,etc.It has become the three major industrial transport vehicles with automobiles and trains,which has been widely used in coal,mining,ports,electricity,metallurgy,chemical and other fields.Due to improper installation and adjustment of the belt conveyor,inaccurate blanking at point of falling materials,long-term use in harsh environment and other reasons,belt conveyor will result in failure.In order to ensure the safe,reliable,energy-saving and environmental protection operation of the belt conveyor,a monitoring system of belt conveyor is needed.However,at present,the integrated protection system of belt conveyor has some problems,such as incomplete detection and control functions,using CAN or 485 bus structure,complex wiring,expansion inconvenience,short communication distance,slow transmission,poorreliability,and no video surveillance.The host computer software is lack of pertinence,lack of real-time and low code efficiency.In order to solve the above problems,the thesis studies the Ethernet-based belt conveyor monitoring system.Basing on the design scheme of monitoring system for belt conveyor based on ethernet,a software design scheme of belt conveyor monitoring system based on Ethernet is proposed,and communication software,database and host computer software are designed.Basing on.NET platform,the Socket and TCP/IP protocol have established the communication protocol between the upper computer and the monitoring terminal,the network telephone and the emergency stop switch,and the network communication software has been programmed to realize the communication between the upper computer and the monitoring terminal,the emergency stop switch and the network telephone by using Ethernet technology;The database of belt conveyor monitoring system is designed SQL Server,it achieves historical data storage,archiving,query,etc.;The PC software of belt conveyor monitoring system is designed with C#Winform,the monitoring system PC software realizes the functions of belt conveyor status detection and control,parameter setting,fault alarm and video monitoring.Experimental research has been carried out.The results show that the belt conveyor monitoring system realizes the communication between the industrial Ethernet ring and the monitoring terminal,the emergency stop switch and the network telephone.Detection of running state such as smoke,stacking coal,tension,speed and temperature of the belt conveyor,remote control such as sprinkling,braking,rectify deviation,which can realize fault alarm,data query,video monitoring and other functions.The monitoring system software of belt conveyor based on Ethernet developed in this paper which has the advantages of strong function,convenient networking and expansion,flexible control and high reliability,and it can be widely used in coal,mining,port,electric power and other fields.
