About The "nostalgia" B&B Architectural Design

Under the background of rapid development of Chinese modernizationand industrialization,the society,culture and the living environment havebeen hit in the process of increasing urbanization.The trend of return rural land has transformed people’s view into the country and traditional culture."Nostalgia" nowadays refers not only to the desire of returning nature,but also to the care of traditional culture.On the one hand,countries will:inevitably be transformed into cities,and on the other hand,the rural tourismwill become fashionable." Rural Hostel " is the intersection of these twotrends.In recent years,the research of rural regionalism of China has beendiversified,and the inheritance of traditional culture is no longer a mere formality.Nostalgia is not only the expression of personal feelings,but also ｛the "identity" based on common social experience.To find a language belonging to building design in emotional linesprovides a new view and the possibility to the designing of rural hostel.Thisthesis is trying to discuss the Chinese Local Regionalism through the ruralresearch of Chinese typical dwellings,especially the Weilong House in Guangdong Meizhou and the Hakka culture.Meanwhile,by comparing thedomestic cases of rural dwellings in recent years,analyze the requirement tosatisfy the modern life under the premise of following the traditional culture The design of rural hostel should respect the ecology and traditional culturewhich is aiming at pursuing a pleasant lifestyle.Finally,the current suitable Chinese Local "Regionalism" designingprinciples will be summarized based on my project of Sixteen’ Rural Hostel.
