The particularity of preschool children is that they lack a series of common sense of life and corresponding self-care ability to distinguish good from bad,safety and danger.It has become a new idea of modern toy design to integrate their inner and ideological needs into the emotional design of toy design.Therefore,emotional design in toy design with the most contact is to take children's emotional needs as the primary consideration in the design,and supplemented by the interaction of the buyer,toys and the use environment.This paper chooses toys which have great influence on the growth of young children as the research carrier.Firstly,it discusses the current situation and design trend of emotional design of preschool children's toys from the development background of emotional design and preschool children's toy design.Secondly,it discusses the theory and trend of emotional design.On the basis of tool research,this paper studies and summarizes the emotional characteristics and design elements of preschool children's user groups from four aspects:structural characteristics,physiological and psychological,life form and emotional expression.In the course of the research,the paper systematically integrates the characteristics of emotional design of children's toys with corresponding case studies,and puts forward the breakthrough point of emotional design of preschool children's toys-the application of emotional theme and the impact of product environment;and optimizes the basic principles of emotional design of preschool children's toys through the previous research.On the basis of function,ease of use and safety,the principles of "playfulness" and "artistry"are put forward.On the basis of the five principles and taking the four steps of "feeling-contact-operation-reflection" as the design contact point,this paper studies the emotional factors involved in toy design,such as color,shape,environment,sound,material and function,and puts forward "harmonious color mood,attractive modelling sentiment and penetrating environment".The design and implementation methods of sentiment,integrated voice situation and intimate material sentiment are proposed.It is suggested that attention should be paid to children's understanding and acceptance of toys in the design of contact and operation.On the basis of user's mental model,the key points of emotional design such as "easy to understand,easy to use and interesting" are put forward.In the specific design and implementation,the use of questionnaires,observations,records,user experience design,user portrait method and other methods to conduct research and analysis of users,design physical toys,toys for preschool children studied in this paper emotional design methods and theoretical results to provide practical proof.Through the research of this paper,the following conclusions are drawn:the emotional design of preschool children's toys is the integration of children's emotional needs and toy design.Diversified children's emotional needs provide a variety of design trends for toy design.On the basis of positioning children's emotional intentions,corresponding services,functions and emotional value-added can be provided by designing corresponding toy game forms,attracting users sensorily and influencing their consumption decisions.Emotional design of preschool children's toys will create a pleasant experience for children,speed up the integration between toys and toys,improve the use cycle of toys,and also provide a variety of development possibilities for the use of toys in a series of processes.
