Children play a very important role in the history of human development,and their growth directly affects the development of all aspects of the world.As the best partner in the process of children’s growth,toys are an important medium for their cognitio n of the world.At present,most toys sold in the market,many sets of anime IP image,shoddy,single-function,short service life,and rarely consider the emotional experience of children playing with toys.Therefore,this study will introduce CMF(Color,Material,Finishing)design theory in combination with the physiological and psychological characteristics of preschool children,and explore and design a children’s toy product with sustainable and high emotional experience.Through the multi-person interactive toy "Find together",it provides reference and reference for the design of other children’s toy products.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Analyze the developmental characteristics of preschool children at all ages.Taking 3-6 years old children as research objects,through the study of their physiological,psychological,cognitive development,perceived development,and emotional development characteristics,combined with questionnaire survey and user interviews,the preschool children’s toy products are drawn in color,material and finishing.The design requirements of emotional aspects such as processing techniques have clearly defined t he direction of the emotional design of children’s toys.2.Analysis and summary of the design status of children’s toys.Through the classification of toys for preschool children,as well as the multi-level analysis of toy color,material,surface treatment technology,function characteristics and ability training,this paper points out the problems of color clutter,rough processing,single function and short service life in the toy design of preschool children.In addition,aiming at the existing problems from the perspectives of emotional experience,sustainability,value and so on,the development direction of the emotional design of preschool children’s toys is proposed,which lays a theoretical foundation for the subsequent research.3.Research on CMF theory and its application value in emotional design of children’s toys.Through the research on the color,material and surface treatment process of CMF,combined with the growth and development characteristics of preschool children,the value of CMF theory in the emotional design of children’s toys is obtained,that is,the color conveys the toy emotion,the material affects the toy quality,etc.Through the "CMF emotional design model for children’s toy products" to provide theoretical support for the design research of this paper.4.Emotional design of preschool children’s toys based on CMF.Based on the analysis of preschool children’s toy needs and CMF design theory,through the design of positioning,CMF in toy design,sustainable design,high emotional experience design and other dimensional analysis,the best design is preferred.Make a feasibility analysis of the design to ensure that the toy is truly grounded.It is hoped that through the application of CMF,it will help to improve the emotions conveyed by children’s toys,provide reference and thinking for domestic children’s toy design,help toy manufacturers achieve low input,high output and obtain good returns.
