Research On The Impact Of Government Support And Technology Market Size On Innovation Efficiency

The essence of improving the national innovation capability and building a national innovation system is a mechanism and measure to improve the relationship between the government and the market.China's technology market started late,with imperfect development and inefficient allocation of scientific and technological resources,which in turn affects the government's ability to support scientific and technological innovation activities,reduces innovation efficiency.This article uses specific data to study the impact of government and technology market size on efficiency in innovation activities.This paper combines the research literature of government support and technology market,theoretically analyzes the mechanism of government support and technology market size's impact on innovation efficiency.Using the DEA method,measured the innovation efficiency of 30 provinces and cities in China from 2001 to 2016,and used the innovation efficiency value as the explanatory variable to verify the impact of government support and technology market size on innovation efficiency with panel models and threshold models.The threshold for technology market size is calculated.There is a close relationship between the size of the technology market and the local industry-university-research institutes.Therefore,this paper uses factor analysis to analyze the performance of industry-university-research institutes in 30 provinces and cities in 2016.Panel model research shows that the impact of government support activities on innovation efficiency is positive;threshold model research shows that government support for science and technology activities is limited by the scale of technology market development: when the size of the technology market,that is,the volume of technology contract transactions in a region accounts for When the GDP ratio is less than the threshold,government support activities cannot promote innovation efficiency.If this threshold is exceeded,the role of government support activities in promoting innovation efficiency will continue to increase.Further research on the scale of the technology market shows that there are regional differences in basic research,and that there is a large investment in basic research in regions with large technology markets.At the same time,there is a general lack of close contact between research institutions and enterprises in 30 provinces.Based on this,we should pay attention to basic research,optimize cooperation between industry,universities and research institutes,and regulate the government's behavior in participating in innovation activities.
