As a public foundation course,Linear algebra is a necessary tool course for engineering survey students to study the major course.The teaching effect of the course has a direct influence with the major students' follow-up learning of professional course and lifelong education.According to our own teaching practice and the investigation on the present teaching situation of mathematics courses in our college,this paper is to analyze the reasons for the lack of students' ability to transfer subjects and find out the solutions.Through the investigation of the present situation of the teaching in my college,it is found that the following problems exist in the course of linear algebra in our college,which is also the main cause of the difficulty in the application of the students' ability transfer in the subject of linear algebra: first,the foundation of the students in our college is weak;There are big differences and lack of opportunities for practice.The level of the students admitted to higher vocational colleges is not uniform,which leads to the weak mathematical foundation and the general lack of the ability to apply mathematics in higher vocational colleges.Second,the course teaching hours less,teaching content,lack of practicality,teaching effect is not good.The relationship between the teaching content and the major is not close enough,lack of fit with the specialty of higher vocational students,lack of the relationship between the teaching content and the major.A certain degree of practicality and application,the integration of teaching content and specialty is not deep enough,there is no specialty characteristic of higher vocational colleges,and the transfer application of linear algebra in specialty is not reflected.Thirdly,teachers' teaching ideas and teaching methods need to be improved.Teachers lack abundant social experience or systematic knowledge reserve,and their knowledge structure is too single.Fourth,homework arrangement,teaching assessment mode is relatively single,there is no sense of hierarchy.The results of investigation and analysis show that the above four problems are the main factors that affect the teaching effect of linear algebra courseseriously.In view of this,this paper summarizes the reform principles and ideas based on the professional service,arranges the application cases of linear algebra in measurement specialty,analyzes and draws a conclusion that the idea of mathematical modeling is incorporated into the teaching practice of linear algebra classroom.Case teaching,project teaching and other teaching methods are the only way to realize the classroom teaching reform.Finally,this paper puts forward the teaching reform countermeasures and suggestions of the linear algebra course based on professional service from the adjustment of the syllabus,the reform of the teaching contents,the innovation of the teaching methods,the construction of the teaching staff and the perfection of the curriculum evaluation system.The innovation of this paper is that the idea of building and mathematical modeling is integrated into the classroom teaching of linear algebra,at the same time,case-based teaching is actively carried out to strengthen the instrumental role of linear algebra in serving the specialty of measurement.
