Take Invasive Plants As An Example To Discuss The Classification Management Of Specimens In The Herbarium Of South China Botanical Garden

In recent years,with the acceleration of economic integration,the increasing of international trade liberalization,the transportation is convenient,and human activity intensifies,the harm of alien invasive plants increased year by year.Plant invasion has become the global human issues,so that specimens of invasive plants management is particularly important for future research.In this paper,the alien invasive plants in the herbarium of South China Botanical Garden were taxonomically studied based on the species,the amount,the distribution places,the collecting history,and the preservation state.By studying the invasive plant's conservation and management in the herbarium of South China Botanical Garden,we will learn the scientific basis of invasive plants research and the direction of the management plan.China has now become one of the countries suffering most from foreign biological invasion.At present there are more than 400 kinds of invasion of alien species in China,and there are more than 50 kinds is in the list of the world's most threatened alien creatures released by the International Union for Conservation of Nature(I-UCN).Every year they caused economic losses to the Chinese up to more than 5.7 billion Yuan.This article examined the specimen of South China Botanical Garden where there are 332 families of angiosperms and 63 families of ferns,and it teases out 27 families,59 genera,73 species of invasive plants specimens which comes out 5874 herbaria in total.It was found that the largest number of species is the compositae,and the outbreak peak is in the 50 s.It decreased in recent years.Further,this paper also shows the deficiency of management,and puts forward the suggestions for improvement.By analyzing the current situation of the digital herbarium of South China Botanical Garden,we know the architecture and function of it and it will also provide other research services,better display technology at the same time,and enhance the user experience.In addition to the basic data collection and investigation,it is also necessary to solve the problem of how to quickly find the invasive plants in the digital process,that is to say,how to find some kind of plants with some kind of function.
